How long is a piece of rope? Our common response to people enquiring about Personal Coaching is 4 to 6 sessions. However, it can be less and the client may choose more. The number of sessions depends solely upon the client and their goals and commitment to self development. For Business Coaching, it is more common for a coaching relationship to span a longer period of time and involve multi tiers of coaching, mentoring and training. It is common for FMC to work with a business every week for the first 3 months, and then move to monthly thereafter until all goals have been achieved. FMC create business coaching packages that fit a budget and deliver exceptional results.

FMC can assist you with this upon request.
We have a saying in coaching “the client is driving their own bus”. It is up to you as to how many sessions you have and how far apart they are spaced. FMC believe it useful to leave at least 2 weeks between sessions to allow the client to process and explore the outcomes achieved and ground explored. You may choose to wait longer than this or push forward head on; either way, it is not the pace of the race but the quality of the journey that counts. We will guide you along the way with our best recommendations, however the choice and control is yours.

Neuro Linguistic Programming is a set of tools that is like no other. These tools unearth the patterns and strategies of behaviour and their derivatives. NLP creates change fast and when coupled with coaching techniques, the change is long lasting as new habits and behaviors are formed.

A workplace of any size is made up of a team of human beings. Where there are humans, there are common behaviors that when amalgamated with a common negative theme can create chaos. A team of 40 with 5 who are disconnected, troublesome, dispassionate or lacking motivation will suffer, just as one rotten apple will affect the crate. Coaching brings the leaders to a place of certainty as to how to read and manage the ‘negative’ behaviors and bring the employees to cause, or move them along, as the greater team continues to thrive and strive for excellence. We fear that which we do not know – FMC get you ‘in the know’!
Yes. FMC have a strong conviction to empower tomorrow’s leaders with tools that will accelerate results and inspire their employees to develop and grow within the workplace. This is a win / win outcome, as the employees feel fulfilled as they learn new life skills that can be implemented in the workplace and in their lives and the business benefits from an even stronger alignment of values and behaviours from their team. Team challenges become less of an objection and more of an enjoyment and a real chance for the team to stretch and learn. Learning and growing becomes fun.
In a word – No! A coach will have no vested interest in discussing the problem for any longer than is necessary to establish connection to triggers. Instead, they will use a wide range of tools and techniques and some NLP therapies to move the client to cause and then to solution. The solution is not always a direct outcome that ‘fixes’ a situation. Instead, it may bring the client to place where they have clarity as to why this problem has occurred, and that it is similar to other problems that keep occurring. We can now see the pattern, find the trigger, sever the connection and create new choices so as to avoid repeating the pattern of pain in the future.
No. Psychology looks for sources of the feelings and behaviours and allows the client to indulge and immerse themselves into the negative experiences and feelings they produce. The coach moves quickly from this space to the options and choices that will create transformation for the client. Coaching utilizes and has respect for psychology and widens the net to give the client tools to change the experiences and outcomes currently holding them back.
